Notice is hereby given that in accordance with Regulation 36 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Development (England) Regulations 2004 and Regulation 24(2) of the Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2008, Oxford City Council formally adopted the Core Strategy DPD on 14th March 2011.
The Core Strategy DPD is the principal document of the Local Development Framework and sets out a vision, spatial strategy and core policies to guide development and change in Oxford for the period to 2026.
The Core Strategy DPD was subject to examination by two independent Inspectors appointed by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government. The examination included hearing sessions in July and September 2009 and September 2010. The Inspectors' Report was received on 21st December 2010 and can be viewed at the locations set out below.
Any person aggrieved by the adoption of the Core Strategy may make an application to the High Court under Section 113 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act. Any challenge must be on the grounds that either the document is not within the appropriate powers and/or that a procedural requirement has not been complied with.
Any such application must be made promptly and in any event not later than Monday 25th April (6 weeks after the date of adoption).

The adopted Core Strategy DPD and accompanying Sustainability Appraisal Report, together with the Inspector's Report and this Adoption Statement, can be viewed on the City Council's website at http://www.oxford.gov.uk/corestrategy

Aylesbury Vale District Council hereby gives notice under Section 19 the Town and Country Planning Local Development (England) Regulations 2004 as amended in 2008 and 2009 that it has adopted a Conservation Areas Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) on the 4th March 2011.
The SPD provides background information which will be of use to the Council but will also help local communities to engage with the Conservation Area Review process. The SPD is a material consideration in the determination of planning applications against policies in the Adopted Local Plan and future Development Plan Documents.
Any person with sufficient interest in the decision to adopt the SPD may apply to the High Court for permission to apply for judicial review of the decision and any such application must be made promptly and in any event not later than 3 months after the adoption.
